The Wiz Kid X Sacto Mofo

My fams cover band, The Wiz Kid, played at a Sacto Mofo event in Folsom last week. I had the day off, so I figured, why not. I get to watch/hear my cousins play some music and scarf down some good ass food, sounds like a good time to me. I LOVE FOOD TRUCKS. Taco trucks, burger trucks, grilled cheese trucks, I don't care, they're all good to me, haha. Me and My Ruca had Hefty Gyros and her sister and Sebastian had Chando's Tacos, 2 of our favorite trucks. If you haven't tried either of them, you're missing out on amazing truck cuisine. Here's some shots from that night. Sorry, no food pics, except for the shaved ice we got, haha.

1YR.ANNIVERSARY in TAHOE.

This past weekend was the celebration of the 1 YR ANNIVERSARY of MY RUCA and ME. We wanted to go somewhere nice but still a place where we can get a little crazy, haha. So we thought, South Lake Tahoe is the perfect place. Casinos for drinking($2 Coronas & $2 Patron shots at Montbleu) and seeing my fam, The Wiz Kid, playing at Cabo Wabo inside Harvey's. The lake and mountains for the sights and perfect background for the weekend. The restaurants/casinos providing the food(Base Camp Pizza, McP's Taphouse, Cafe Del Soul inside Montbleu, Fatburger inside Harrah's) and.......maybe a little more drinks, haha.

All of those elements turned into a fun ass weekend. Walked around, partied with fam, drank too much, stayed in the hotel room way too much(well worth it, haha). The one who can stand my crazy ass, the one who holds my heart, the one who always holds me down, made this weekend AMAZING. I LOVE U JENNI!!!

DADDY-O'S SF TRIP.

My Dad FINALLY made it out to CA!!! It was fun as hell having him here. I wished I would have been able to spend more time with him. We made it out to SF though to see Gabe with my tia Olga and my ruca Jenni. Fisherman's Wharf was most definitely a spot we had to go to. My dad had never been there before, so we made sure he got some chowder, seafood cocktail, and crab sandwich. Can't wait for you to come back Dad!!!
