BIG EGO CLOTHING x RACHAEL COFFMAN x SC3 DESIGNS

For the last 2 years, I have been talking to Rachael Coffman, trying to do a photo shoot with her. Every time we tried to schedule a shoot, something would come up. Like, Rachael being in basic training for the military, then moving to South Dakota, my work schedule conflicting, me going out of town, etc. But now, she is back in Cali and ready to make some magic!! We finally hooked up yesterday to do a shoot for BIG EGO CLOTHING. They are releasing a mini drop(about 4-5 designs) real soon and wanted me to do a lookbook for it. I'm finishing the lookbook this week. Got another shoot tomorrow with another model to wrap it up.

We had a lot of fun!!! The 1st location was a wooden fence with green vines all over it down the block from my house. I had been wanting to shoot there since I moved in. Just never got the chance to. We got some real nice shots in a little bit of time. After that, we got a couple shots in with Waffles, the house pitbull, which was a lil difficult but AWESOME. I love Waffles so much, I wanted her to get in on the fun we were having, haha. She loved it too, Waffles kept smiling and talking, she loves being the center of attention. For our 3rd and final location, we went to the old Citrus Heights City Hall/Citrus Heights Police Station. I drive by it everyday when going to work, and everyday I look and stare when I pass by it. Palm trees line the street and I just fall in love every time I see it. I've had my eye on this spot for a long time. The shots I envisioned in my head, put me and Rachael in the middle of the street, on the median, in some danger(according to the police), haha. In the middle of me and Rachael shooting in the street, as Julian held the external flash for us, the police shut it down because they said we were endangering our lives and the cars around us. So we had to go on the sidewalk. I got some good shots before we had to stop but I wanted MORE!! Haha. The cops were really nice though so I didn't get too mad. I tried to get them to let me take one more shot but they weren't having it. Haha.

After our shoot, we all went to get some Mexican food and talk. It's always good to work with models with good personalities as well as being a model who knows what she is doing. Good conversation, good food, good times. Can't wait to shoot with Rachael again. We got some shoot ideas planned for next week, so I'm stoked!!! I'll be posting the new BIG EGO CLOTHING lookbook this weekend so keep an eye out!! Until then, here's a couple artsy shots that won't make the lookbook but I liked a lot. ENJOY.
